Why Radio?
First and foremost, radio is my passion, I'm very enthusiastic about connecting and interacting with people from different walks of life and radio helps afford me with that opportunity.
Which other radio stations have you worked for?
I'm currently working with Harry Gwala FM as a presenter, my time slots are 08h0-10h00 every Sunday morning.
Did you study radio?
Yes, I studied radio at Serepta Raido consulting under Mr. Dave Hochkin.
Who is your South African Radio icon?
Former Ukhozi FM radio presenter Vicky Masuku, she is a veteran radio presenter who I look up to and admire.
Also Nongcebo MacKenzie, I once met up with her at one of the shops in Westville, she gave me love, appreciating my service at that job I was doing at that time. I said to my heart, "wow this woman is humbled, if she can smile at me, talk to me and acknowledge me" remember I love attention , I love being loved ngiyintandane phela I wished and hoped to become like her one day.

When I first started my show in December 2020 on my Ndicela uxolo show which was broadcasting on every Wednesday at 20h00-22h00, I got many comments recommending my voice saying i sound like Nongcebo MacKenzie, I didn't believe them for I was like that's hilarious! Nongcebo pho! 😏 badlala ngami, until my late mother confirmed that yes I do sound like her, and I listened to my previous show, owh guess what😝💃🏻 I do sound like her😊😊
What can we expect from you in the next 5 years?
I'm working on creating a name for myself, within the next 5 years I would like to have achieved my goal of becoming a well respected household name within the radio industry, my own show and a recognizable figure within the media industry.

How often do you listen to other radio stations and which radio station do you usually listens to?
I do listen to Radio, almost everytime when I'm available, I listen to Ukhozi fm, Metro FM, Eastcoast Radio and Vuma FM.
What has working on radio has taught you?
My experience in radio has consisted mainly with interacting with young children, this has taught me the importance of certain values such as kindness and compassion when it comes to nurturing young minds.
What advice can you give to aspiring radio broadcasters?
Radio can be a very demanding job, any aspiring radio broadcaster should be willing to work long and irregular hours. Aspiring radio broadcasters should be driven by more than the urge to become famous.
