Officially presenting you the LYD presenter search winners

Although many people are heart broken for not making it, but they are happy for being the part of the search. A lot of young talented people are waiting for 2020 presenter search already, this search had a trend on social media for about a month.

LYD organisers wanted two young vibrant and talented people. Mongezi Mnyameni (21) from Clermont, in the North of Durban is the King of the LYD presenter search. Mongezi is currently a radio presenter and a producer at Eantouch Radio, which is an online radio station. He's also the aspiring TV presenter, Model and an actor.

"Well, winning this presenter search was and is still such a thriller! At first, I was hesitant at entering but people around me pushed and strongly encouraged me to participate because they believed I would win, and so it happened. I’m grateful and eagerly waiting to experience everything it has in store for me or even opportunities it may expose one to," Mongezi said.

As we all know, there is no King without a Queen, and the Queen is a lady from eSkhalambazo, Mandeni in the North of KZN. She grew up in KwaMsane township, and currently competing as a finalist in the Miss Luminous South Africa 2019/2020 competition.

She describes herself as a young woman who believes that with persistence and perseverance nothing is impossible. As long as you have a dream, you can shine wherever you are.

"I'm very excited and I feel very honoured to have won the presenter search as I competed against many talented young people. I have always loved presenting and always wished to host a big event such as the LYD awards, I'm super excited," Thandiwe concluded.

Thandeka Zulu from Umlazi, who took the part in the presenter search but did not make it said it was fair and convenient for everyone.

Sama Jobe, LYD Spokesperson said,"We would like to congratulate all the winners and thank you so much to those who participated, hope to see them next year again, this is not the end of their journey," Sama said.

Live Your Dream SA Youth Awards Season 5 will take place at The Durban Playhouse Company on the 30th of November 2019. The event will commence with a Red Carpet ceremony at 16:00- 17:30 then the main event from 18:00-22:00.
